As per the direction of Honourable Court, the Examinations for Anna University affiliated colleges other than the colleges situated in four flood affected districts, Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram and Cuddalore will be conducted as per the schedule given by COE from 15.12.2015 onwards. For the students and 148 colleges of flood affected district, all the semester exams are postponed. Separate examinations will be conducted for these students of four flood affected districts from 28.12.2015 onwards. Revised timetable will be announced in Anna University website.

Anna University has started of giving Internal marks for all students according to the Series exams(Internal Exam) marks.These exams were conducted by local colleges and the answer scripts was valuated by the same college staff and finally the mark details will be entered in the Anna University official web portal.After entering all the three internal exam marks,Anna university will calculate the internal marks for all affiliated college students and the Internal Mark results will be published before the publication of Annual examination Results.

Attendance details will be also considered for the internal mark calculation.Anna University has allotted Five marks for attendance and remaining 15 marks for internal exam marks which was conducted three times in one semester.

Anna university new question paper format for PG students

New question paper format/model for PG students was published by Anna university. They mentioned that PG students admitted or joined from 2015 batch shall follow the new question paper model.

New question paper format for PG

Before few days, anna university officials had given a statement in many media's that we are going to change the question paper format for both UG and PG to improve students skills. As they said, now they changed the semester exam question paper format for Post Graduate students who are admitted from the academic year 2015.

Changes is applicable for?

PG Students admitted before 2015 shall follow the old question paper model. And all other PG students have to follow the new examination question format.

Changes in New Question Paper

Now a question among PG students is, What did anna university change in the new question paper ?. Lets see the answer, Part A section has no change, 10 two mark question = 20 marks. Usually Part B section contains five questions and each carries 16 marks. In new format, they had reduced part B questions mark as 13 and so 5 * 13 = 65 marks. And again Part C, it contain only one question with option, 1 * 15 = 15.
